Re: Thomas Reissig TDCJ #677119

Dear Honorable Parole Board Members:

I am writing to protest the parole of defendant Thomas Reissig TDCJ ID #677119. On August 26, 1992, Johnny Johnson was brutally murdered by Reissig.

Sixteen months later on December 17, 1993, Reissig was convicted of Murder. The State of Texas sentenced Reissig to 60 years. Thomas Reissig has only served 30 years since he murdered Johnny. To permit him to serve one day less than his entire sentence is to deny justice.

Johnny's mother, family and friends received a life sentence. Even Reissig own sister has expressed she feels her and her family's life is in danger if he is released from prison. Reissig actions with making a choice to violently take a 34 year old young man's life is proof for his lack of respect for human life and no doubt if released he would be a threat to society.

At the very least, Thomas Reissig should serve the full 60 year sentence he received.

Only the Parole Board can ensure justice in this case. Please require Thomas Reissig to serve his full sentence and enforce a 5 year set off before he can be considered for parole again.

Sincerely,

(SIGNATURE)
