Carol (Kissman) Rosenbaum

May 25, 1954 - March 7, 1981

Carol (Kissman) Rosenbaum was born in Austin, Texas on May 25, 1954, along with her twin sister. She grew up in Austin and was a native Austinite. Carol was brutally murdered in Austin on March 7, 1981 at the age of 26. She left behind a 7-year-old daughter, many family members and friends.

Carol was a wonderful, kind and sweet person, and well liked by all. She never met a stranger and everyone was her friend. Carol enjoyed life and she was fun to be around. She was always happy and she was a very outgoing person. Carol loved helping people. She was healthy, young and full of life and had her whole life ahead of her. Carol enjoyed listening to country music. She enjoyed shooting pool, which she was very good at doing. Carol also enjoyed refinishing and recovering an old antique couch that she got from her grandmother.

It's been almost 25 years since Carol's death, but it seems like yesterday. She is still missed very much by all the many people who love her. Her memory will not be forgotten. She will always live in the hearts and minds of us all. Carol has missed out on so much over the past 25 years, including seeing her daughter grow up. She will never get to know and enjoy her three grandchildren, but we all know that she is watching over all of us from up above. Carol will always be our special angel.
