Faye truly personified the old adage, "beautiful inside and out." In her younger years, Faye had a short modeling career, but it was what was on the inside, her love for life and her giving spirit, that endeared her to those who knew and loved her.

Faye had a variety of talents, but the one that stood out for so many was her cooking. At every family gathering, she provided at least 90 percent of all the desserts and casseroles. She gave her recipes to anyone who asked, but the food never tasted the same when it was prepared by someone other than Faye.

Faye was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She had a sweet East Texas drawl except for when she was attending a sporting event of one of her children or grandchildren. Then it was her voice heard above everyone else's.

Although she had been dealt many hardships in her life, Faye's faith in the lord never wavered. She remained active in her church and faced each new day with optimism and appreciation.

Faye was our angel on earth during her life, now she is the angel that watches over us for the rest of our lives.
